  • Every client is different and we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to media training. We customize our approach to meet each individual or group’s needs. However, there are some common goals and key strategies that we include in most sessions:

Media training goals: You are given strategies to discuss your message with maximum power and impact — whether communicating in person or, these days, remotely. You learn how to:

    • Make your message memorable

    • Prioritize your core content

    • Prepare for virtual interviews & presentations (including lighting, background, eyeline)

    • Face negatives head on

    • Tell stories to connect with your audience

    • Use body language to your advantage

    Initial session (2 hours):

PART 1 — KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL COMMUNICATION:

Interactive presentation that includes Core Message, Building a Narrative and Storytelling exercises.

    PART 2 — PRACTICE INTERVIEW:

Practice interviews are recorded (on Zoom) so you can put into practice what you have just learned.

    Followup Session (1 hour):

    PART 3 — REVIEW

We screen & review your practice interview and offer feedback. You’ll also get a list of your strengths and the challenge areas you should work on, and, when necessary, thoughtfully crafted talking points that emerge from the session.

  • Not everyone needs or wants the full package. Especially clients who already appear regularly on television. Hourly sessions allow us to target specific needs or problem areas. (There is a 2 hour minimum for first meetings.)

  • I’m happy to customize presentations and workshops for small or large groups.

  • This interactive workshop is designed to address the specific communication needs of women. Women leave feeling inspired and motivated because I give them concrete and actionable tips they can use to speak with confidence, connect with their audience, and make their message stick.
